We only focus on feeding our pup friends in the Pacific Northwest. We source all fresh ingredients from local vendors. We produce our Meatballs weekly and deliver or ship them on Wednesdays. The Meatballs will be delivered frozen, helping lock in nutrients.

Due to the nature of our fresh, local product, we deliver or ship on Wednesday's and Thursday's. If you place your order after Monday, your order will ship the following week. If you are running low or curious about exactly when your order will arrive please email hello@neighborpetfood.com

We now deliver throughout Oregon and most of Washington, where we can safely deliver your pup’s food fresh.

We live and work in Portland and believe in supporting our local protein suppliers and farmers. We source our beef and turkey Meatballs quality meats from local meat companies. Our vegetables, fruits, herbs, and eggs will always come from local farmers in season and locally owned distributors.

Our meatball recipes are crafted by our in house chefs in conjunction with working with board-certified veterinary nutritionist. Each recipe was carefully formulated to meet the nutritional values established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for adult dogs. And lastly, Portland dogs had to approve of the great taste!

Ask your pups veterinarian for specific calorically requirements to see if Neighbor will be suitable for them. While Neighbor is designed for complete & balanced for adult dog maintenance, with proper guidance it can be used for your puppy. Need more info about why? Working with our Veterinary Nutritionist, we found a vitamin and mineral product that helps make sure your pups get the nutrition they need. Here's a full list of ingredients that can be found in the mix that's added to our Meatballs:

Potassium Citrate, DiCalcium Phosphate, Calcium Carbonate, Garbanzo Beans, Choline Bitartrate, Taurine, Salt, Zinc Proteinate, Magnesium Oxide, Iron Proteinate, Vitamin E, Copper Proteinate, Manganese Proteinate, Vitamin B-12, Selenium, Niacin, Riboflavin, Calcium Pantothenate, Thiamine, Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid.

Our food is always fresh, preservative-free. It's best to freeze meatballs and thaw only what you'll use within 4 days in the fridge.

Yes, you can at any time. Please email hello@neighborpetfood.com, and we will help make the changes concerning the desired Meatballs flavor on your account page. We ask that any changes in the Meatballs flavor be made the Sunday night before your next delivery at 6 pm. This way, we can ensure we have all the ingredients necessary to meet your pup’s needs.
